The best tip that I can give to an author thinking of submitting their manuscript to Libros International is to take your time, research websites, books about writing, writers clubs, anywhere where you can learn about the writing craft. Then work on the manuscript until you are sure it is as near perfect as you can make it. Then give it to half a dozen people to read, ask them to give you some honest feedback and then with their comments in mind, re-write some more. Only then should you think about submitting your manuscript. So many authors submit manuscripts that appear to be the first draft; I'd be surprised if the authors had actually re-read it themselves. This gives the initial impression of an author who hasn't taken pride in their work and who is not prepared to undertake the hard work needed to produce a book that is worth publishing. So why would Libros International staff be prepared to take on the work needed when it is obvious that the author himself cannot be bothered. Authors are far more likely to be successful in their submissions if they put the work in that is needed initially, just as they would if they were attending a job interview.
