"Before you read a word, it is the book cover that you see and therefore, an important first impression needs to be made in order to draw you in. We are always happy to work with your ideas"

Kelly's Advice:

Some advice from Kelly My advice here is this: If you have ideas, share them with us in as much detail as possible. If you don’t have any ideas, that’s fine too, no one expects you to, but we will still require a detailed synopsis and your thoughts as to the ‘feel’ of the book. More >>

Kelly Walsh - Design and Illustration

Kelly heads up a team of freelance graphic designers, artists and children's illustrators.

Once we have agreed to publish your work, Kelly will be on hand to help with the creation of your book cover. Kelly explains. "Before you read a word, it is the book cover that you see and therefore, an important first impression needs to be made in order to draw you in. We are always happy to work with your ideas but don't worry if you don't know what you want. It is our job to see that your book gets the cover it deserves."

Children's illustrations and more detailed, individual cover design may carry an additional charge to the author.

Mini Blog :

Intrigued and enticed by the promise of lots of hard work, free coffee and no pay for the foreseeable future, I skipped along with wild abandon to what was to be the first meeting of Libros International. It was at this meeting that Ken Douglas shared his vision of starting a book publishing company where all authors would be guaranteed a ‘fair crack at the publishing whip’ by ensuring their manuscripts would be read.

Somewhere between that first meeting and now, long hours were worked, lots of coffee was drunk, many great people joined in and a successful company was born.

I have never once doubted what we are trying to achieve; I am reminded every time I hold the proof copy of a book by a talented new author in my hands.

Oh yeah, and I still skip to our meetings!
